We are delighted to announce that our out of hours emergency services provider – MiNightVet – now offers the BSL SignVideo service for our deaf clients who use British Sign Language (BSL). The service is available during the following hours:
Monday – Friday from 8pm – 8am
Weekends from Saturday 1pm to Monday 8am
Bank holidays – 24 hours
The free BSL SignVideo service works using video calls connected to fully qualified BSL interpreters and enables deaf clients to communicate through SignVideo either by calling the MiNightVet practice from home or when they are invited to attend the practice with their pet for emergency treatment.
A client will need their own smartphone, computer or device with video and sound and their own data to use the service.
Clients can access the service by:
- clicking on the SignVideo link from the MiNightVet practice page on the MiNightVet website – minightvet.com
- clicking on the SignVideo link for MiNightVet on the emergency page of their practice website
